The fastest Snow plow ever made -16′ Monster back plow Finishes a driveway in seconds Bat Wing Plow

Stan Genadek: Just plowed a driveway out in under 20 seconds.

Stan Genadek: I thought I knew all about snowplowing 'cause I've done it for 30 years, until I went to Michigan into this one area where they get lake-effect snow, 100 plus inches per year. Now I've gone out snowplowing a total so far this year of nine times. These guys have gone out 48 times. This is like snowplowing 2.0.

Stan Genadek: Their equipment is next level. They've got the be able to move massive quantities of snow as fast as possible, and what I found when I went to Michigan was they're kind of on a different playing field than we are over in Minnesota.

Stan Genadek: I made it. This is the home of Short Iron Fabrication. I love shops like this. This is my kind of people right here.

Stan Genadek: There's the man. There's Jason. How you doing, Jay?

Jason: Good. How are you?

Stan Genadek: I'm good. I'm good. So, this is the little 12-footer you're working on.

Jason: Twelve footer. Kind of an entry-level blade.

Newbie Plows Driveway in 33 Seconds – Short Iron Fab BackBlade

Dan: What's up, you guys? Tools In Action. Yes, I'm alone today. Eric's not around. There's been some changes in the channel lately. You might see John Miller on here. Eric's still around, it's just he's got a lot of stuff going on his plate right now. You gotta get all the stuff together. He's in business mode, so he'll be in and out of these few videos coming up, but Stanley Dirt Monkey, he was out of here today you guys, and he showed us something cool. Everybody knows I love the Ventrac, and I plow all my neighbors out. It takes me roughly 10 to 15 minutes with the Ventrac to do my driveway. I think I have a 60 inch blade on it. Stanley came out here today with something from a company called Back Iron Industries I believe, and they're out of Michigan with another made in the USA tool.

Dan: Now, I know when we're talking this heavy equipment stuff, made in the USA really means a lot you guys, because they're using better steel than you see on these oversea made factories....

Go from Lawn Care to Snow Plowing

Check out our course: How to Get Started In Snow Plowing

Just trying to get started in snowplowing, this program's going to teach you the entry level ropes. I do these things because I wish somebody had done them for me.

My very first year in snow plowing I got screwed out of 10 thousand dollars by a contractor because I didn't know better. Then I thought I had figured out the system and how to protect myself. I went to work for managerial companies directly.

Five years later, I got screwed out of 12 thousand dollars because I didn't know better. Now, 30 some plus years of snow plowing have taught me the ins, the tricks of the trade, where the real profits lie when you're snow plowing and a guy named [Goggin 00:00:46] called me up and said, "Teach me everything you got, Stanley. Are driveways a good way to go?" Heck yeah, but they're also a managerial nightmare. You do a hundred driveways on your account. Well, guess what. You have to invoice 100 people. There's a way around that so...

Snow Wolf Paws for Using a Skid-steer to Plow Snow

Snow Wolf Paws

Today we're going to talk about one of the simplest modifications you can make to almost any skid loader that will dramatically improve its performance for snow removal.  You're also going to see a demonstration that under any circumstances, I do not want you to attempt to duplicate. I shouldn't have let it be done for this video, but I wanted to show you how dramatic this slight modification makes to its performance. It doesn't matter if you run case, New Holland, Bobcat, Caterpillar. All skid loaders suffer from one common weak point and that is their tires on the ground. They're designed for mud.  They're designed to help the machine flow, but in a snow removal application, that same design becomes its Achilles heal. Now allowing the tires to properly grip the pavement, I strapped a set wolf paws under one of my Bobcats. The change was like night and day. Look at how it just holds it in place.

Spinning Tires

You see that? You see how those tires are...

Case SR270 Skid Loader & Arctic Sectional Snow Pusher

Arctic Sectional Snow Pusher

Today we're reviewing the Case SR270 skid loader and an Arctic sectional snow pusher. I call this a bullet proof plow system for a reason so let's get started. The first thing that I want to point out is this is a sectional snow plow that has versatility with a minimal amount of moving parts. There are no hydraulic hoses to connect. There's nothing that can blow out on you in the middle of the night during a major snowstorm. You have two simple connection points that you use with your quick attach coupler. You're hooked in and that's it. Yet this is a true snow pusher that allows you to do things that other snow pushers don't achieve. They have the ability to go up to a curb line and back dragged away from a curb leaving a very clean edge. Watch this thing. Look at that; it goes right up. Another thing that this snow pusher does well is contouring to the parking lot. It will literally hug the different elevations in a parking lot leaving it bone dry -...

This is real...

How to Wash the Bottom of a Plow Truck

Bye Bye Salt
I'm going to show you a really cool trick on how to wash the bottom of your pickup truck. Washing your truck doesn't have to be hard work. I'm washing my truck right now while drinking a cup of coffee. I have the sprinkler system going underneath the truck just as normal. Place it under the truck and move it back and forth.  This will make sure your truck doesn't rot out.  I absolutely love it.  let's go see how it's going.
move it around a little bit. The bottom of your plow truck stays just as nice as the day you bought it.  I took the hose from inside my laundry room down to the truck. You can see the steam coming off from the truck.  Right now I use hot water. I get that bottom of that truck cleaner than I can ever do at a car wash.  I'll tell you repairing equipment because of rust is expensive.  A truck just like this one I had to replace all the transmission lines on twice that was over six thousand dollars one season alone....

Snow Wolf - The Dumbest Snow Plow Ever Made for a Skid Steer

So I'm here at the Snow Wolf manufacturing facility and what I want to show you is called the Quattro Plow. Stan: I want you to put it in the back drag position. Colten: What’s that? Stan: All the way over, fold the wings backward.

Containment to Back Drag

Stan: We call this the "dumbest snowplow in the world" because it doesn't get any simpler than this.  You can take the snowplow from a containment unit to a back dragging unit with no special connections. Stan: Now I want you to pull the wings forward, that is called the containment position. Alright now fold them back. That's back dragging!  This would have to be on the front of a caterpillar you could put it on a Bobcat you can take this off this machine put it on any single skid loader without any wiring without any connections. Stan: Sonny is going to show us how easy it is to hook up... Stan: One hydraulic hose, two hydraulic hoses, not even high flown as necessary to operate this, simply unplug this one, you...
